Patrick Blanc - 9 years old

Patrick Blanc is 9 years old!! He lives in Spain in Barcelona. Patrick started playing with kites on the beach when he was just 5 years old. At 7 he starded with a board with Garbí kite school in Casteldefels ( Barcelone) and with Laurel Eastman Caracol school in Cabarete ( Dominican Republic ).

Patrick was helped as well by Gisela Pulidor´dad and a 10 years old girl world champion and his dad Alex Blanc ( IKO instructor ). Patrick is uses a 5, 7 and 9 meter kite but his favorite size is 7 because his weight is just 26 kg!

Patrick is using a 105 meter twin tip very thin and curved special shaped for him. Patrick is kiting a lot because he lives very close to the beach. His family is travelling a lot to Tarifa and Cabarete and he just needs 8 knots to jump!!!! Patrick was last year best promise in the European junior kite event and won a board .
