The Kite4Girls Day is the only
kite boarding event held just for women by MiamiKiteboarding.com
It was one of those perfect Florida
days, Saturday May 14th. The 2nd Annual Kite4Girls Day was held.
This year it was more of a gathering than a competition as the
wind was light. The kind of day you wish for a larger kite. The
Slingshot Machine and Cabrinha Contra which seemed to grab more
air than most. Girls shared them if they had them. Neil Hutchinson
and Todd were on the microphones and commented that a few years
ago no kites would have been up yet the girls were out riding
and even tricking. A testiment to the advances in kite technology.
So there was no big air but the day was perfect. A friendly crowd
watched from the beach and enjoyed the day at Crandon Park, Key
Biscayne, Florida.
